Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data we collect through this website and why, who else sees it, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

Who we are

AXISENSE SRL, trading as Axisense, is the controller of your personal data. Registered office: Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Tax identification number (CUI): 43148613.

For any privacy question, write to [email protected]. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

Visiting the site

To deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks, our hosting and security provider processes your IP address and basic technical data about each request, such as browser type and the requested page. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use this data to identify you.

Your cookie choice is saved in your browser so that we do not ask again; it stays there until you clear your browser data. Apart from this, the site stores nothing in your browser unless you accept.

Contact form

Through the contact form we receive your name, email address and message, and your phone number and company if you add them. We use them only to answer you and to discuss a possible project. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering your message and on the steps you ask for before a possible contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and (b)).

An email delivery service passes your message to our mailbox and sends you a short confirmation email.

We keep your messages for 2 years after our last exchange. If we sign a contract, we keep them as long as the contract and the law require.

Using the form is voluntary. You can also write to us directly at [email protected].

Spam protection

To keep spam out of the form, a spam-protection service checks technical signals from your browser and device, such as your IP address and browser type, to tell people from automated programs. It loads only after you accept cookies. Its provider may also use these signals to improve the service. We rely on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

When you send the form, our server also uses your IP address to limit repeated attempts. It is held only briefly in memory, never stored or logged. We rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

If you do not accept cookies, the form cannot be sent and you can email us instead.

Analytics

If you accept cookies, we use an analytics service to see how the site is used as a whole, for example which pages are read most. It sets two cookies that hold a random identifier for up to 2 years. For visitors in the EU, it does not store IP addresses; it uses them only to estimate an approximate location. We keep analytics data for 2 months. We rely on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

You can withdraw your consent at any time: choose Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, then Reject. From then on we collect no analytics. Cookies already set stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them.

Job applications

Job applications reach us by email at [email protected] and are kept in our mailbox. We use them only for recruitment. We rely on the steps you ask for before a possible employment contract and on our legitimate interest in choosing the right candidate (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

We keep applications for 6 months after the recruitment ends. We keep them longer, for future openings, only with your consent.

Who else sees your data

We never sell your data and we do not send marketing emails. Only these types of providers process data for us, under terms that oblige them to protect it:

  • Hosting and security provider: delivers the site and protects it from attacks.
  • Spam-protection service: checks the contact form, only after your consent.
  • Email delivery service: sends the form messages and confirmation emails; keeps a sending history for at most 30 days.
  • Analytics service: measures how the site is used, only after your consent.
  • Email provider: hosts our mailbox; the data is stored in the EU.

Some of our providers are based outside the European Union and the European Economic Area (EEA), mainly in the United States. Any transfer of data outside the EEA relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on its standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for the list of providers and for details of these safeguards at [email protected].

We disclose data to public authorities only when the law requires it.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its use and to receive it in a portable format. You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what we did before. To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We answer within one month.

We do not make decisions about you based only on automated processing, including profiling.

You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP): B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Sector 1, 010336 Bucharest, Romania; [email protected]; +40 318 059 211; www.dataprotection.ro.
